COUNTER SALESMEN – (Automotive Parts Shop)

Payrate: $18
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Salesman to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking automotive parts and accessories. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with their parts needs, providing advice, and ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone with their automotive parts needs.
• Identify and recommend parts and accessories based on customer specifications and vehicle requirements.
• Utilize our inventory management system to locate and order parts as needed.
• Provide accurate and detailed information about parts, pricing, and availability.
• Process transactions, handle cash, and manage credit card payments.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly.
• Stay informed about the latest automotive parts and industry trends to better assist customers.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist with restocking shelves.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field will be an asset
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
